Voice-first querying on any website
A voice layer that lets visitors query any website hands-free, turning navigation into a spoken conversation.
What it is
Push-To-Prompt adds a voice interface to existing websites. A visitor holds a button, speaks their question, and the site answers in context — no typing, no digging through menus.
It is designed as a thin layer that can sit on top of any site: an ecommerce catalogue, a booking engine, a corporate site or an internal tool.
How it works
- Capture — a push-to-talk control records the spoken query in the browser.
- Transcription — speech is converted to text, either in the browser or server-side depending on the privacy requirements.
- Grounding — the transcript is matched against the site’s own content.
- Response — the answer is returned as text and optional speech, with links to the relevant pages.
Why it matters
Voice is not just an accessibility feature — it removes friction. When a visitor can simply ask “do you have this in blue, and can I collect it on Saturday?”, conversion and satisfaction both improve.
This project is hosted as a standalone application.
